As of today (Sunday 17th December 2023), police forces across Wales are to begin enforcement of Labour's blanket 20MPH speed limits as the period of bedding in has passed.
Sadly, Labour haven't used the period to reflect on the huge public backlash against this disastrous policy, which has already costs Welsh taxpayers £33 million - money which could have been spent on bringing down NHS waiting times or supporting vital front line services, such as social care.
Almost half a million people have signed the petition against blanket 20MPH limits. That's more than those who voted Labour at the last Senedd election, yet the Welsh Labour Government remains completely tone deaf to the voice of the people.
